These product target one of the underlying causes of frown lines and crow’s feet—the repeated muscle contractions from frowning and squinting over the years. Facial fillers replace lost volume to smooth away wrinkles and define facial contours providing immediate results. Hyaluronic acid forumulation (Restylane, Juvederm, Emervel) is a clear gel specifically formulated to act like your body's own hyaluronic acid to visibly reduce moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds for a more youthful appearance. They can also be used to enhance and treat volume loss in the lips.
We strive to provide you with a procedure that is comfortable and pain free. Many patients report little or no discomfort with neuromodulator injections, some patients report a slight pinching sensation. When performing hyaluronic acid injections the treatment area is first numbed using a topical or injectable agent. Many of the leading products we use has lidocaine manufactured into the product to improve comfort.
Nurse Practitioners providing cosmetic injection services function in the same manner as physicians providing this service. Our injector Sarah Reynolds, NP is physician trained and certified by the Chellsey Institute of Health & Beatuty in cosmetic injections and a member of the College of Nurses of Ontario and Nurse Practitioner Association of Ontario.
