Our course is developed for Registered Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses and Nurse Practitioners by a Nurse Practitioner to ensure you have the knowledge and experience to confidently enter the field of medical aesthetics in the application of Wrinkle Relaxers (eg. Botox) and Dermal Fillers.

Hands On Experience
Demonstrating and practice of consultations, injection techniques, managing complications and emergency's to ensure you have the opportunity to practice using Wrinkle Relaxers and Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Fillers on live models.
- Multiple patients for hands on injecting practice with Wrinkle Relaxers and Hyaluronic Acid
- Demonstrating and practice of consultations, injection techniques, managing complications and emergencys
- 6 hours of shadowing at our office can be arranged for continued support

Important Information
With so many options for training in this field it is vital that you choose a program that provides small class sizes, mentoring and hands on experience. The College of Nurses of Ontario does not currently over see or accredit any medical aesthetic courses in Ontario. This is why we developed a comprehensive training program, training manual and believe in intimate class sizes, so you have the knowledge, skill and resources to safely practice in this rewarding field.

Introduction to Wrinkle Relaxers (eg. Botox) & Dermal Fillers
- Day 1:
- Anatomy & Theory, College of Nurses and Legal Aspects, Privacy and Consent, Wrinkle Relaxer (eg. Botox) Theory and Application, practice on live models.
- Day 2:
- Anatomy review, keys to a successful practice, social media and legal knowledge, types of practice settings, overview of products available, Dermal Filler Theory and Application, practice on live models.
Our comprehensive training course equips you to feel prepared to start your rewarding carrier in medical aesthetics. We have found this field of nursing to be both fiscally rewarding as well as emotionally, as you have the opportunity to connect with patients and assist them in achieving their treatment goals.
You will be provided a certificate of completion at the end of the course and includes resources to support your practice, hands on training, legal and professional knowledge and a list of potential medical directors. During our comprehensive two day course you will have the opportunity to observe and perform hands on training with our educator and Nurse Practitioner, Sarah Reynolds to help reinforce your knowledge and skills.

Lip Enhancement Advanced Injector Course
- Theoretical and anatomy review of dermal fillers and wrinkle relaxers and their use in the lips and oral area, review of emergency preparedness and treatment, hands on practice on live models; demonstrating injection techniques and assessment skills to all ages of lips.
- Techniques included: key hole pout, peri-oral lines, volume, the aging lip, oral commissures.
Fee is $1499 for the full day and class is limited to 8 participants . Students are required to show proof of completion Introduction to Botox & Dermal Fillers and be an active member of the College of Nurses to register for this course.
Virtual Deoxycholic Acid Training
Learn how to reduce submandibular fat using this popular medication as well as off label treatment options. Training includes theory review and a certificate of completion. Must have completed an Introduction to Botox & Dermal Filler Course (any facility) to register.

Mentorship Monday
Are you looking for an opportunity to discover if the aesthetics industry is the right career path for you or to learn more about how to succeed in the field?
If so Mentorship Monday shadowing days are for you. During your day you will have the opportunity to shadow our clinical nurses as they perform patient consultations, perform treatments and ask all your questions.
While you won't be performing treatments you will be provided tips and tricks to perform treatments safely and successfully. We encourage you to ask questions and learn as much as possible from our experienced clinical team.
